well the house renovations continue! this post is filled with lots of pictures of how things are coming along and of things we’ve added to our sweet little home.
first things first- our to do list is getting things crossed off!
i finished decorating the wall around my desk…
Hayley and i made a jewelry wall. we love how colorful everything is!
Hayley hung up her mason jars on the tree in our backyard…
we made a makeshift mantel over our fireplace that doesn’t work :)
like the roses from our garden and the “miss bishop” book?
and the latest addition to our family :) already BBQ’d three times this week!
and a few updates on my planner…
september’s here! can’t believe summer’s over. september brings a LOT of exciting things… i started Graduate School this month. i finished my first week of class and LOVED every minute of it. it is so great to be in a place where people have the same passion as you, know the feeling? i am thrilled and so blessed to be in this program. i’m looking forward to learning a ton and meeting some great future child life specialists :) curious about child life? click on this link.
september also brings about the marriage of another one of my best friends. the lovely meghan will be married to aaron this saturday and i could not be more excited to be a part of their special day. it is so encouraging to see such incredible love between two people. i can’t wait to celebrate the soon-to-be mr. and mrs. morelli!
lastly, september brings the release of my beautiful mentor’s book!! kristin ritzau is an incredibly talented writer, approaching tough subjects with grace and hope. her book is entitled “a beautiful mess”, a perfectly imperfect way of approaching life and it’s many challenges. i’ve had the chance to read the first few chapters and i am so looking forward to reading the rest. kristin’s book is available on amazon. you can also check out her website to learn more about kristin and the beautiful mess.
last but not least, i finally covered the front of my planner…
okay, don’t mean to bombard you with pictures. but you were warned :)
hope you all have a great Labor Day weekend!

Oh my word Kenni – thanks for this, my pleasure. You have raised (and continue to) an intelligent, wise, creative and gorgeous daughter with an open heart. Those are definitely traits she has not only developed but inherited. Blessings to you.
